P2M continue to improve their environmental credentials.
With the help of a local entrepreneur, as from November 2015, 100% of all our plastic feed bags are being recycled. This is only possible because the feed is oil free and non-soluble and so does not leave any residues attached to the bag. We are proud to state that the feeds we use do not even soil the bags they come in, leaving the bags suitable to recycle. Naturally, this can give the reader an idea of the negligible impact of the feed on the water quality.
More recently all wooden pallets that cannot be re-used are also being recycled into wood chips.
The above steps have served to bring our waste levels down to negligible quantities and therefore reduce the strain on our landfills.
